I've added an update where you can use controllers. A PS4 DualShock 4 or either Switch Joy-Con will work. It works without any extra software too, as long as you can get them connected through Bluetooth.

(Also, the DualShock 4 can connect to a computer through a micro-USB cable, the same cable used with some phone chargers.)
